This farmhouse boasts two features that make it worth viewing. One, it has a staircase placed outside, so as not to take up space inside an already small house. Two, the building is a good example of another type of fachwerk that uses fieldstones. The fill between timbers is made up of odd-shaped stones rather than bricks, cut limestone, or stone mortar. Among the furnishings are a handmade swinging walnut cradle and a pump organ.
